Farewell but not goodbye to Kristine Nga, the Program Manager of ClimateWatch
ClimateWatch would like to acknowledge and bid farewell to Kristine Nga after a rewarding stewardship with the program as she heads back home to sunny California, USA end of this month.
Kristine joined Earthwatch in January 2013 assuming the role of Programs Coordinator where she successfully handled the delivery and communications of the program. During her tenure, Kristine proved herself as confident, energetic and with excellent leadership skills earning her the position as Program Manager in August 2013.
Kristine managed to secure partnerships with a diverse range of community organisations most notably in the tertiary education sector as well as rolling out new ideas on how to effectively engage and sustain relationships with fellow ClimateWatchers, scientists and international partners.
Adding on to Kristine’s passion for the environment and all things sustainable, we believe that this experience heightened her knowledge and supported her passion for protecting Australia’s unique flora and fauna.
Kristine will be greatly missed by an appreciative organisation and the wider partner groups. We thank her for all the devotion towards the program and wish her all the best and success in all her future endeavours.
The announcement of the newly appointed ClimateWatch Program Manager will be made later on this year.
