Quinns Rocks Environmental Group Create a Trail

Quinns Rocks Environmental Group is one of the first volunteer conservation groups to create a ClimateWatch trail.  The trail at Gumblossum Reserve was launched on 6 August with a workshop for members.

“The ClimateWatch trail combines our work in local bushland with concern about climate change. It is a great way for local people to learn about plants and animals in Gumblossom Reserve and help monitor the effects of climate change,” said David Wake of Quinns Rocks Environmental Group.

Program Manager Rich Weatherill said "It was really easy to create a trail for this reserve. David provided a species list and we identified a shortlist of ClimateWatch indicators."
