Why do you volunteer with ClimateWatch?

UWA

Participants needed for online research project.

Why did you decide to become involved with ClimateWatch? Have your reasons changed over time? What stops you from participating more?

As part of a research study at The University of Western Australia, we are asking volunteers to complete a simple, short (10-15 minute) online survey.

This study aims to develop a greater understanding of what motivates people to volunteer their time and efforts to Citizen Science programs such as ClimateWatch. This knowledge will contribute to improved organisation of these programs to increase participation and overall success.

It does not matter if you are a frequent contributor, have only just joined or don’t contribute very often. All responses will be useful and appreciated!

The survey takes just 10-15 minutes, is anonymous, confidential and can be completed online.

Participants go into a draw to win a handheld GPS!

The findings of this study will be shared with both you and ClimateWatch coordinators.

Your answers are much appreciated!
